IIMA participated in ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists).

From June 5th to 9th, 2023, IIMA participated in ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists) meeting held in Trino, Italy. Toshiki Iwaoka, General Manager and Chief Economist, reported on Japan’s inflation situation and its implications.

ICCBE is an annual meeting of chief economists founded in 1937 to discuss global economic issues and is held in members’ countries by rotation. Current global issues were discussed including global inflation and higher interest rate environment, deglobalization, and impact from Covid19 on demographics and productivity.
